About the role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to focus on leading our car buyer checkout experience. Someone who loves to think through the entire experience of the end-user, and produce well-thought-out user flows, detailed wireframes, and stunning high-fidelity designs. Your goal will be to create a transparent, easy-to-use, pressure-free shopping experience that will redefine customer expectations of what buying a car should look like. You will report to the Director of UX and work closely with the Browse and Dealer panel teams.
What you’ll do
- Redefine the way dealerships sell vehicles
- Breakdown user behaviour and raw data into user-centred data-driven insights
- Align designs to business objectives
- Design digital experiences end to end (web, iOS, Android)
- Leverage our design system to create stunning user interfaces (and make contributions back to the system)
- Document your designs in a way that leaves no room for error when they get to development
- Help build a design system and reusable component library
- Advocate for the user
- Provide peer-mentorship
- Work closely with developers during the handoff and QA phase of the project
What you’ll need
- Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma, InVision, Miro, Adobe CC
- 6+ years of product design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high sense of empathy, curiosity, accountability and integrity
- High sense of autonomy, community and humility
- Ecommerce is a bonus
